Falcon Elsu
It was time to clock out, and Falcon didn't hesitate sliding his badge through the machine because it meant going home where he could finally rest. Dirt and grime covered his face and hands hiding the many callouses. It wasn't exactly what he was looking for, but it was a job. It gave him money to help take care of his family. Yet he was the only one working. The only one providing any income for his rather large family. Barely making minimum wage, he had to do what he had to do. He didn't get any off days, but he looked forward to the mornings when it was time to finally go home.
He threw his bag over his shoulder slowly making his way out the door. The next shift was coming in, mud covering their boots. Falcon sighed knowing the mess he would face tonight when making his way through the building once more. One would think cleaning it every single would make his life easier, but it never has.
But finally he was heading home.
Heavy eyes darted back and forth from person to person. An empty stomach rumbled as he looked at the empty lunchbox. He never packed anything more than a couple bites because he didn't want anyone asking questions.
And then he saw his home.
A huge grin twisted slowly across his face as he ran to the door unsure if anyone was awake. He carefully placed his key inside the lock and went inside. Falcon took a breath before feeling the tears run down the side of his face.
He was hungry, but he didn't have anything to eat, and he wasn't making enough money to save his family.
But he had hope that one day it would all work out.
