People always ask me if I remember being blind.

Like, are you fucking stupid? No?! I was like, 2 years old when I got my surgery. What 2 year old remembers nothing? I don't know man, I can hardly remember what I had for breakfast yesterday let alone what I ate when I was 2 years old and toddling round the place, all tantrums and high chairs. I think remember waking up and being able to see things, that was pretty cool. Apparently I passed out in shock and then woke up again crying - sounds about right. But I did all my crying when I was a kid, got it all out of the way, and now I punch people all day like the badass career that I am even though I've gotta wear glasses and my Mom and Dad are like, petrified I'm suddenly going to go blind again, like that makes any sense.

Huh. Good thing my house is big enough to have a training centre hall in it.

Sucks that I can't even leave my house, though.
