It hadn't been long that Whyst had been living with an Avox. Her twin had insisted that they get someone to help out around the house when neither of them was home but the blonde haired woman didn't know exactly if she trusted this man. She'd done a little digging, trying to find out why he'd been avoxed and what she'd found had not been promising. He'd been avoxed for murder. Perhaps, if Hunter had looked into it, he'd have found them a different avox but she supposed there wasn't much they could do now.
Iceka purred as she snuggled in with the smaller woman, Whysts fingers petting her soft fur as she tried to decide if she wanted to get out of bed yet or not. She'd worked late last night and if she was honest, she didn't really want to get up, her bed was comfortable, nice and soft just as she liked it. She wondered if the people of the districts had such soft beds, surely with how generous their president was, they were well treated.
Rolling over, she sighed, burying her face in the pillow as her brother came in to open the curtains. "Rise and shine, time to wake up" She disliked how cheerful he could be in the mornings, how the hell he'd managed to become such an early bird was beyond her. Iceka growled at him before he pet her and she settled down, seeming to accept that he wasn't a threat. "I'm heading to work soon and I need you to keep an eye on the new avox." She sighed. Of course, her brother didn't trust the new avox either.
She finally rolled out of bed and groaned, forcing herself to her feet so that she could keep an eye on him. Harrison, she believed his name was, not that she'd likely use it. He was a criminal after all. He was 'Avox.' That was his title. Better than slave she reasoned. She wasn't a cruel person by nature but he was a criminal and he would be treated as such. Her snow leopard wasn't violent by nature but if he tried to touch her owner in any way, he would feel her claws and teeth. She'd laid out clothes the night before and she quickly slipped the items on, a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
Making her way downstairs, she wondered where their new avox was, she hoped he wasn't up to any mischief or anything as she really didn't want to deal with that. "Harrison, where are you?"
