Anthem - Day 3

Night falls but there is nothing to distingush the 'day' from the night in this hellish place- a hollow empty sky opens up unto the slither of a blue moon, casting enough light onto the arena for tributes to fing their way. Still, the world shifts in deadly shadow, unforgiving and unending darkness in the places the blue light can't reach as a whispering wind blows through the arena, carrying voices with it.
As the anthem plays, you cannot help but feel watched as you turn too look up into the faces of the fallen, their faces streaked with purple cloud.
As silence envelops the world again, you feel the prickle of fear spread across your body as the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. 2 more are gone to whatever waits for them on the otherside, but there are still 19 people between you and home.
