In the slums of D9 ya got many types of people. Ya got your street rats. Ya cancer-stick inhalers. Ya too poor to do much more than sit bobos. Ya trash talkers. Ya fighters. And, ya got ya marbles players. Ya see, these people come from many categories of street-dwellers. They all unite for one thing, really, and that's to play marbles. It don't matter if ya got a penny to share, food, or something interesting. If ya can sacrifice a trinket, shoot straight, and play fairly then ya welcome in their gang. This group of scallywags consists of a lot of interestin' folks. Ya rich, ya poor, ya somehow in-between. Ya tall and short and ugly and purty handsomes. Ya boys and gals and old folks and young folks. Anyone is welcome.

Just don' expect everyone to be nice all the time. Cuz' sometimes fights break out in these little meetings. People ain't okay with bein' cheated, and some of them don't like losin'. So they fight each other, and ya just gotta roll with the punches, you know what I mean? But most of the time, it's okay to play and be played. We all lose a game now and again.

Do ya feel like joinin' us? We ain't picky, just bring somethin' shiny and we will let ya right in. We're the marbles playin' gang, and we play to survive. Welcome, we'll teach ya how to play.

"Quicksilver" - Abraham Qui - 17 - Leader of the Gang - Played by Meghan - A boy of attitude, mystery, and passion. He's raised himself in the streets since his mom is often too "sick" to work, and his dad can barely scrape enough together to feed them. Abraham is a bit of a mystery, he doesn't talk about his home-life and spends most of his time looking after his little sister. He has won so many games that he won the leadership after the last leader retired from the gang and got married.

"Marbles" - Marvis O'Leary - 11 - Resident Rich Kid - Played by Meghan - The youngest sibling of District Nine's very own victor, Soap O'Leary. He's never known anything but luxury, but that doesn't stop him from playing with the street kids. He likes to feed everyone,  but they don't always except his help. He got his nickname because he's probably the most famous marbles player around. Everyone knows him for his skills, and he ain't afraid to brag about it.

"Shootin' Star" - Birdie Qui - 14 - Quicksilver's little sister - Played by ♛ scandal - The younger sister of the leader's gang, so basically gang royalty. She feels like all she is doing is living in her brother's shadow. Yes, people do know her than most, but most people know her as Abraham's sister, not Birdie. She desperately wants to prove herself, but she has never been good at being like her brother. She is good at reading, but she will not stop until people know her more than Quicksilver's sister.

"Salty" - Stevie Stewart - 16 - Resident Dunce - Played by ?? - The lovable oaf of the gang. He sometimes loses, sometimes wins, but he always makes everyone laugh. APPLY FOR ME.

"Rogue" - Ryder Pearsons - 15 - Beauty Queen - Played by ?? - The hot-mama of the gang, everyone expected her to suck but she came in and kicked serious streetrat butt. She plays for keeps, and she plays dirty. APPLY FOR ME.

"Mouse" - Winifred Pearsons - 13 - Shy and sly - Played by ?? - Ryder's little sister, fiercely protected by the beauty queen. She's still learning to play, but she ain't half bad. APPLY FOR ME.

Feel free to apply for any of the above characters. I'm down with any cool ideas you may have for them. Original characters are also welcome! Use the below form, or don't, it's your game. Please give me their nickname, age, known ability, and a description. I don't really care about face claims, you can literally use whoever you want. Feel free to make entire families, if you want. My only request is if they're family, you coordinate with the family members so they're the same race and all. I'll make some decisions on who plays who after I get some responses. There is no limit to how many characters are in this plot. Gangs are big, ya hear?

Also public service announcement, you don't need to age your characters unless their siblings get reaped. Marbles is going to age, but I don't really care beyond that.
