A Super Special Moderator Event!

That’s right! Our special mod event is a Get To Know You! Except it’s not a get to know us, it’s a get to know you guys! We as mods want to get to know all your wonderful members just a little bit better, and it also gives you guys the opportunity to learn more wonderful things about your fellow members! Maybe with some serious questions, but knowing us, it’s gonna be mostly memes because who doesn’t love memes? Oh did I mention there’s house points for the winning team? Because there are most certainly house points.


What is GTKY?

Our version of GTKY is going to be a series of questions based on each member that signs up, giving everyone the opportunity to answer questions about others, but also have a question or two that’s based upon them! This creates a super fun way for everyone to get to know some random facts about each other and maybe some about yourself who knows! An example question would be:

Kari’s peacing out from THG RPG. What other fandom is she going to write for instead?

If you’re wondering it is most certainly Harry Potter.



So, how does it work?

Okay have you guys ever seen The Newlywed Show? No? Well stop bein lazy and go watch it! Just kidding! But basically, it’s going to be a modified version of this super awesome game show! So, you guys will be separated based upon your houses, and these will be your “teams” or your newlywed members. So congrats! Ya’ll are now officially married by the power vested in me through this site! Each round there will be a question based upon a member in the house, this member will go and DM one of the mods running it with their answer to the question. Then each House will get two guess as to how this member answered the question about themselves. Yes, this means that each house can discuss which answers they would like to be their official answers in their house chat. We will be having an “official answerer” of sorts so not to get confused to what is a legit answer and what could possibly be people just screaming random answers (Which we would like to keep that to a minimum of course). Since there is discussion opportunities we are trusting you guys not to spoil any answers within your own house if the question happens to be a member from your same house. Every house who guesses correct will receive one point, yay!

We’ll be making a nice little slack channel just for the purpose of this event.


And when?

December 28th to be exact, but the time, well that’s up to you guys! When you fill out the sign up form there will be a spot for your available times. If you can convert that into EST that would be super amazing and helpful! We’re not expecting this to take any longer than one hour, but maybe just in case leave 1-2 if something wild happens. If you have to leave in the middle that’s no worry either!
