Reyes Calvo

A sinner’s retreat, the bed of another that you don’t even know the name of. One glance, two glance, no memories come flooding into my head. I pull the cover up…ok yes well, that happened. So the sofa surfing has taken another level, now I am sharing the comfort with them. A stranger, not even his face is familiar. What was I drinking last night? I just sit up against the wall, trying to calculate the night before. One scan of the room and my belongings are all there, the prize backpack all in one piece.

Should I just run?

How quietly can I escape, before he wakes up?

I scratch my head as the scene plays out in my mind, I can’t even see my trousers on the floor. It is my stomach that groans first, proposing that I should stay so that it can be replenished by whatever is hidden within the male’s cupboards. Another look and my eyes meet his; it is too late to escape.

”Well uhmm…hi?” To think this has never happened before is just a lie. ”So did we uhm, last night. You know? Fuck?”

Ike O'Nyle

The hangover was obvious as his head was pounding from the night before. All he could remember was winning a fight and his manager or friend or whatever he was offering to go to some party. The party was booming when he was there. Then he stumbled along somewhere and then it's all black from there. The sound of someone fumbling makes him want to get up as he's worried someone is trying to rob him for a second, but then he can see the person as he barely opens his eyes. All of him to be seen and all Ike does is groan as he shuffles up from the bed, eyes meet as he gives a shrug as he can't remember what he did the night before.

”Well uhmm…hi?”

A nod of notice as he closes his eyes again for a moment and then letting go from it all. Panic in his senses, but he gives up because damn does his head hurt. It isn't the first time he's woken up with a guy in his bed who he probably slept with. At least they always end up being good looking. A nice motivation booster, that's for sure.

”So did we uhm, last night. You know? Fuck?”

A sigh as he looks back to the guy in the dark room where he can barely see the floor if he lets his eyes adjust to the dark room. His words fall from his lips.

"Probably. I mean I don't think I'd just lie in a bed naked with another guy? Unless that's normal for you?"

It has never been like this before. A total black out of the day before; literally nothing crosses my mind. Just another night wandering, doing jobs and running the contraband across the District. Where the fuck did I take a pit stop to end up in a bed with this guy? Another glance, at least he isn’t bad on the eye, drunk Reyes knows what I want for sure. I push myself up, dangling my legs over the bed and sitting, the duvet covers my lap as I stretch my neck.

There is no pain in my head; my body has grown immune to the hangovers and waking up in unusual sleeping situation. Only my throat calls for attention, just some liquid to sooth the dryness.

"Probably. I mean I don't think I'd just lie in a bed naked with another guy? Unless that's normal for you?"

I turn my head towards him; a grin is displayed on my face as I shrug. Nothing is normal in my life; I have had far more spontaneous mornings than this.

”You any water? Juice? Anything to hydrate me?” I rise to my feet, the duvet falling off and I grab my bag that is close on the ground. Turning round as I hold the bag low, I cover myself up. ”Like where did we meet last night?”
