One. Two. Within this cruel life of mine, there’s always a set of two. One. Two. A pair that are inseparable, and unbreakable while always together. One. Two. Amongst of family of solely twins, I’m the only one to be brought into this unforgiving world completely alone. One. Two.
Two eyes. Two ears. Two nostrils. It seems everything has come in two, even including my siblings. Never apart any of the sets are, and close to the other pairs that share such a common trait of being multiples - for the exception of myself of course. It’s as though I was branded with a hideous scar across my features when I arrived from Mother’s womb by myself. A dark cloud has permanently followed me since my lonely birth, shadowing me into the black sheep I was properly destined to be. While each pair of twins are consistently accompanied by their other half, forever to never be alone, I’m left in the despair of ongoing isolation. Perhaps it was my own wrong doing to make me so lonely? Though I had no part in deciding whether I was a twin or not. One. Two. One. Two. One…
