So it looks like the end of the road fellas. I’ve found myself coming on the site less and less, and I’m sad to say that I’ve gotten to the stage where I don’t miss being on the site when I’m gone. That’s more on my part than the site’s, life is pretty busy and I’m often exhausted from work. I have come to the realisation that I should semi-officially retire, and whilst nothing is forever, I’m going away for a while.

This site has been an incredible part of my life for many years now, and not only has it been a rewarding creative experience, but I’ve met some people who I now consider some of my closest friends. You know who you are, you cheeky bastards, you. I’ll of course keep in touch, so long as you still want bad memes, jokes, and football talk...

I have accomplished the two things I set out to do when I joined this site: improve as a person and improve as a writer. I like to think I’ve done that, and neither of those would have been possible without the help of everyone on this site who has pushed me and helped me grow. Online communities like this are rare, and most of the people here are a credit to themselves and the others around them. I hope it continues.

I was also able to win a Games, and with that came my Victor, Patricia, who I love more than anything I’ve ever written or created. I’ll be really sad to stop writing her, at least for the time being. But thank you to everyone who has been a part of her (and ultimately my) story along the way.

Until we meet again, stay strong fellas, respect all workers, fuck the tories, and have fun.

You're one of my favourite people in the entire world. You've always been chalk full of good advice for me and 100% always been there for me when I was in panic!mode. You care so much about people and their experience and that's amazing to behold. I've loved getting to know you as a friend and getting to know you all these years. Words can’t describe how you’ve effected my life. You’ve always been so supportive and kind. I’ve always admired you so much and I truly adore your writing with endless passion.
