Anthem - Day 2

Anthem Day 2 IC -- x

Night falls across the fields of snow. Khonsu and Artemis light up the night too easily, the light refracting off of the frozen ground in facetted marks of beauty. The trumpets of the anthem begin before the colours begin appearing across the sky like northern lights in the darkness. Four faces light up the darkness, too large and smiling too brightly.

Four dead in the first day. That leaves nineteen more that must go if you ever hope to see your loved ones again. Will you ever be warm again? You can't remember the last time your teeth didn't chatter.

As the anthem ends, the faces disappear, but the light takes a moment longer, lighting the snow in a sickly green.

The sun rises early at five am despite the season and the arena seems pristine in the bright sunlight. The soft sound of birds can be heard coming from seemingly anywhere and everywhere all at once. In the quiet of the morning, the world almost seems too peaceful. Suddenly, A figure comes from behind the mountain, standing nearly as tall seemingly as half it's hight. Bigfoot lurks in the Moguls, wandering aimlessly towards the Snowflower Meadows. He has his eyes on the plains ahead of him, a destination in sight. Be wary.
