I miss ya. I don't know why I do, but everything in me just wants to crawl away and hide from what's going on around me. I've got blood on my hands now, it's hard trying to be strong for others, but I just want to curl up and cry now. Is that a normal thing to feel? I don't even know anymore. I miss ya though. I miss that night under the stars where I felt safe away from home for the first time. Death seems to live in this arena. I just wish I could hear your voice, but deep down I know, it wouldn't be pleasant.

We both want to live. I know I do. I've never had anyone like you back home. There wasn't a single person besides my family who talked to me. I can't get your eyes out of my head, forest boy. Everytime I close my eyes your there with comforting words and half the time I can't help but think ya succeeded in making the night last forever. The stars are shining bright tonight and all I can see is you. I hope we don't run into one another, but at the same time, I wish we would.

Just don't die, please. I need to hear your voice just one more time.

The letter is on white paper with a slight folding in half like it was folded to hide the text. The ink scribbled on it is clearly Caine Winchester's chicken scratch of handwriting. Love is crossed out in ink like Caine changed his mind of what to put upon the paper. The folding could be from Chestnut's grasp of the letter.
