Enigmas had finally faded.
It was time to let go of the charade that she tried to keep for so long.
She was strong, a beautiful piece of a puzzle that she would never come to realize because with a flash of silver, her life was taken from her.
She had no way or trying to convince Raven to take mercy on her careless soul.
It would not change a thing. No. It would do nothing for her because she had no choice in the matter.
Death did not care about her choices in life, and that was something that she accepted the moment she felt his spear connect with her eye.
It was karma, in its ugliest form.
She had killed a boy days prior, and now, she was going to go out the same way, because that is just how everything works out.
She was an enigma, but not anymore.
Her charade became a story that she would never be able to tell because the moment she tried to open her mouth, it was over.
Her voice was silent.
Her will was gone.
She wondered if anyone could feel anything in their death, but she wouldn’t know, because her life faded into black.
Death had finally gotten his wish, and now he was able to claim another person that he thought he would never be able to claim.
Bella Rose was now in deaths arms, and there was no stopping him from taking her to the kingdom in which she would now live until she could find her absolution.
Death was a handsome man, when he was wearing his human skin.
Someone that Bella could possibly fall in love with. However, he didn’t want that. Death already had a wife, and even then, Bella Rose was not fit to be one.
She would never be ready to bare a family.
She wouldn’t be able to protect anyone.
Her voice was stripped from her, and now she was mute.
The only time she could hear her voice was when she sang in death’s kingdom.
She found out that her calling was to be a herald. Someone to call people back to the place where they belonged.
She didn’t know where anyone was, including her parents. Well, not at first.
Death told her that she would one day meet them again, when he thought she was ready.
Would she ever be ready though?
No.
Just like she wasn’t ready to leave Raven in her wake.
The only thing that she could hope was that he grabbed the one thing that meant the world to her in the games.
The locket that she cherished in her time in the games.
She hoped that it would make it back to her sister. The only Rose left on a bush full of thorns.
She wished she could have said goodbye, but goodbyes didn’t exist after the games. IN death, they didn’t matter.
Nothing mattered.
Bella Rose was dead, and there was no coming back from that.
As resilient as she claimed to be.
She was going to have to make her peace here.
She wondered what became of Caine.
She hoped that he got to live in the stars now.
She wondered what happened to Euley.
She hoped that she found whatever she was looking for.
She wondered what happened to Gillian.
She hoped she was traveling the seas of this kingdom that no one knew about.
She wondered if this was the time to recollect on the people that she knew in the games. She wondered if anyone of them would come looking for her.
She wondered if there was a chance for them to meet in their death.
She wondered.
She wondered.
She wondered.
She was broken.
She was battered.
She was bruised.
There was no coming back from a place that she didn’t even know how she got here.
She accepted that.
She donned her apparel and wore that crown of thorns she placed on herself back in the games.
She could feel the blood seeping down her skin, corroding her complexion and proving to her that she was dead.
She waited for people to die, so she could sing to them while death took them from the bodies.
However, she could never see the face of the people that death was taken.
So while she prayed that she could figure out if she knew her audience, she wouldn’t.
Death made sure to keep that much a mystery.
So she would follow death blindly, singing a tune to whoever he was taking back with them.
And maybe one day she could find the beauty in her end.-End of Bella Rose-
