P I N G
We may not really be princesses, but to me, that doesn't matter. In my opinion, all of my friends should be treated like royalty. They're all beautiful, wonderful girls- especially Belle. If I'm going to be entirely honest, I had a crush on Belle for a while. She's so beautiful that it's hard not to see her as practically perfect. After a while, when I was positive that those feelings I had for Belle weren't reciprocated, I moved on. I had never told her how I felt about her, and I had never even told her that I was attracted to females, either.
If I didn't trust Belle so much, I probably wouldn't have even considered telling her these things. I do trust her, though. I trust her more than almost anyone else, so I knew that she should be the first one I told. We were always close with one another, so perhaps that's why I'd started trusting her so much. She just deserved to know. She didn't deserve to have secrets kept from her when it wouldn't hurt her to know.
That's why I knew I had to tell her today.
Belle and I had agreed to meet at the park that was down the street from my home. It was the halfway point between where the two of us lived, and was pretty much in the center of where our whole friend group lived. Therefore, it was the perfect place to meet up and spend time together. It was a beautiful area, after all. I always loved sitting on a bench in the park and just watching the leaves and the flowers sway in the wind. District Eleven was far more beautiful than many people gave it credit for.
When I arrived at the park, I took a seat on a bench and waited for Belle to arrive. I was wearing sandals, which still allowed the grass to tickle my feet a little bit. The sun beamed down on me and truly made me glad that all the snow was gone. A small smile crossed my lips. Then, I saw her in the distance. Belle's beauty was practically impossible to miss. She was close enough to hear me if I shouted to her, and surely she'd spot me if I waved in her direction. That's why I did exactly that.
I stood up from the bench and waved at my friend.
"Belle! Over here!" I shouted to her excitedly. My parents wouldn't approve of my shouting, as they always wanted me to be a nice and proper young lady, but I didn't particularly care. I was always the rebellious type anyway.
