"So if you've got something to prove,
You against me, me against you."
I wasn't fazed in the slightest by the death of my nephew, C'rizz Moon. He was an extremely strange boy that I wish weren't associated with my family's name. He didn't deserve to be labeled as a part of the Moon family. The boy was an idiot for volunteering in the first place, as it was obvious that someone with his lack of skills couldn't possibly survive. Zagreus, although he didn't have the ability to win, had at least made it a bit further than his cousin ended up doing. Regardless, I still don't want to be associated with either of them. If someone dies in the Games, they clearly didn't deserve to win, as they weren't skilled enough to. This does not exclude my son, nor my nephew or anyone else who goes into the Games. If they didn't win, they deserved to die for one reason or another.
Perhaps the reason that my son deserved to die was because of his lack of skills and lack of respect for his parents. Perhaps the reason that C'rizz deserved to die was for his stupidity and belief that there was life after death, as well as that one could communicate those in said afterlife. When I saw C'rizz Moon fall to the ground as a weapon made contact with his body, it didn't upset me like it did those who don't live in my household. My wife and I weren't fazed by it, but, as had happened when Zagreus died, Destriianatos decided to pay me a visit. I was prepared for it this time, though. I wouldn't let her break my nose like she did the time before. I wouldn't let her get close enough to even manage to lay a hand on me.
I'd verbally fight her, and if necessary, physically as well. I wasn't afraid to hit a child. I'd done it to Zagreus his entire life, and it made him learn to obey his parents. He may not have respected my wife and I, but he still obeyed us. The boy learned to fear me, and if necessary, Destriianatos would as well.
When one of my nieces, Destriianatos Moon, arrived at my door, she pounded on it with her fist. I told my wife that I would answer it, and I did just that. Opening the door, I saw the young woman, her arms crossed and a look of anger on her face.
"Uncle Lorenzo," she snapped at me angrily. "You're a vile man. Where's your emotion? Why is it still as nonexistent as it was with the death of your son?" she asked of me.
"I've told you this before, Destriianatos. Anyone who dies deserves it for one reason or another, especially if they volunteered for it like C'rizz did," I explained to her.
"C'rizz and Zagreus didn't deserve death. If there's any person I know that deserves death, it's you, because of how heartless you truly are," she insisted. I smirked, a slight laugh escaping my lips. Destriianatos uncrossed her arms and clenched her fists at her sides, as if she were trying to restrain herself from hitting me.
"I can see that you have a bit more self-control this time than you did before, my dear niece." I told her this with a smirk on my face. I was taunting her, just to see what she would do. That was when she stormed away from me, away from the house and giving me the middle finger as a 'fuck you' goodbye.
Perhaps she'd be the next to go.
That'd be a relief.
