"Somebody make me feel alive and shatter me"
Izars and Stella (alex 🐺 )
You, Lordes Izar, weren't usually the type to hold a grudge against someone. Normally, you'd let people's mistakes or wrongdoings pass you by, not concerning yourself with them for all too long. This, however, wasn't a mistake. Stella Blakesley had helped kill your son, was friends with his killer, and for some reason, still was able to make it out alive when you knew she didn't deserve it. So many Izars had been killed over the years, but this one hit you hardest.
Gabriel wasn't another one of your nieces or nephews. He wasn't Salome or Raquel. He wasn't so many of the others. No, he was one of your sons. You brought him into the world, and someone else stole him from you. They ripped him away from you, his mother, and forced him to fight to the death with twenty-three other children until one came out alive, and it wasn't him. Instead, it was someone who'd tried to kill him. It was someone who didn't seem to even care about the fact that her friend had murdered a member of the Izar family. The Izars had already lost so many, and didn't deserve this.
Gabriel Izar should have survived. He was strong, and his allies were, too. You knew that he had the potential, even though you didn't want to see him fight and kill others. All you wanted was for him to come home. You didn't care what he had to do to get to that point, either. As a mother, all you want to do is protect your children. Now, you know that it's your sole job in life to protect your remaining offspring. They need to be protected at all costs, and you'll do whatever you can to ensure that.
When you heard that Stella Blakesley would be coming to District Eleven today on her Victory Tour, you knew you had to speak to her. You needed to find out what kind of person she truly was. Was she trying to kill your son in cold blood, or was it purely so that she could survive? Either way, you wouldn't be very happy with her, but one of the alternatives was better than the other.
Dressing nicely was always a priority of yours, even if it didn't need to be. Today, you felt that Miss Blakesley didn't deserve your best, as you wouldn't be acting very respectfully to her. Regardless, you dressed nicely. That was one thing that you couldn't not do. If other people were to see you, you'd want them to see you looking your best, even if you weren't acting like the usual, polite person you are. When you left the house, Alfonso came along with you. He would certainly have a few choice words to say to Miss Blakesley. Many members of the Izar family had agreed to approach Stella at the same time, as it would likely be the best way to get the message truly ingrained in her brain. Normally, you didn't like the idea of teaming up on people, especially since that's what Stella and her alliance had done to Gabriel, but in this case, it had to be done. It's not like you were going to be killing anyone, after all.
Although, you certainly felt like you wanted to kill Stella Blakesley. That was for sure. You wouldn't be doing that, though, as you knew it would be not only against your morals, but also likely end up in you being executed. Killing a victor just wasn't an option, no matter how many people said victor had killed or assisted in the murder of.
As you approached the area where you and the other Izars would be approaching the newfound victor, your jaw was clenched. You didn't want to show your anger all right away, but it would be difficult not to do that. When Stella Blakesley could be spotted not to far away from you, you and the other Izars who had decided to follow, approached her. She was turned away from you, but you spoke up to get her attention.
"Miss Blakesley? I'm Lordes Izar. Gabriel's mother. I'd like to speak to you." It was the only way you could think of to be somewhat polite while still letting her know you meant business. Introducing yourself as Gabriel's mother would certainly trigger something in her brain, if anything would.
