ghost sighting!

Hi everyone! For folks who are new since the last time I was here, I'm WT (they/them); I'm an old member who drifted offline a while back for school/health reasons. I keep periodically meaning to drop back in here but losing track of that thought before I manage to do so, and I'm finally getting to it because the lovely and stupendous Saph caught up with me. =) For all you old faces, I'm sorry for being out of touch for so long! I've missed y'all and I'm excited to see you again, and thrilled to see that this place is still in full swing. <3

Off-site, I'm a linguistics graduate trying to figure out what to do with post-college life and move from Texas to somewhere with real seasons. Media-wise, right now I'm mostly into podcasts, Kamen Rider, and comics, and I'm steadily picking reading back up now that I've been out of school long enough for the knee-jerk "ugh, I'm so sick of WORDS" reaction to fade. I gravitate toward stories about identity, artificial intelligences, time travel, and found family, and I'm always happy to swap recs, or just to chat or what have you. ^^

A few hours ago I didn't think I'd want to be back in the sense of starting to RP again. I'm still not sure, but I did wander into some cursory character directory editing and get hit by a wave of nostalgia, so we'll see. (Tangentially related: I did the addition and in site time Aranica is thirty-six, which means Kieran is a WHOLE ADULT. I feel exactly the way I feel whenever I remember that my baby aunts are in high school.) Either way, I'm on the Slack channel now and hope/plan to at least float through more often—I miss this place and I'm really excited to see/meet people!
