The Anthem - Day 4

As the sky fades to orange, then indigo, then finally black, you pray that the monsters - both human and animal - will stop hunting at night. The Arena is a fairy tale on the surface, but you're beginning to learn what fairy tales really are: candy-coated nightmares. As the Anthem plays you raise your eyes to the stars, and four faces flicker across them.

Four dead on the third day. That leaves seventeen other tributes who must meet their ends if you ever want to grow up. Certainly the audience, the Capitol, the Gamemakers, will all be clamoring for your blood. The nightmare has officially begun, and it's not even close to being over. As the Arena sinks into darkness, you feel an overwhelming sense of unease. The Neverwood seems unusually quiet, the waves on the shore of Mermaid Lagoon far too gentle.

Something is coming.
