Calloused hands saved him from the depths of district four when the ocean fought back, and now Junior lived in district eleven. Life's journey wasn't easy, yet Junior wouldn't change a thing.

Ikaia told him his name was related to someone who lost their life in the hunger games, but they chose to call him Junior. Perhaps Ian the second was even better. In a way it frustrated the young boy since he wanted to live his own life as his own person. Carrying the name of someone he didn't know and wasn't even truly related to felt like a burden. Junior wanted his own story, his own legacy, and that was his plan.

Every day the young boy went to school learning about the ways of district eleven, and many times Junior never paid attention. A fragile mind turned to the rest of the world. Trees called his name, and he wanted to climb all the way to the top. He wasn't the smartest kid in his class, and his family told him his head was always in the clouds.

But one thing remained for sure, Junior worked for all he had, and he wasn't afraid of getting dirty. One day he wanted to become just like his father. Ik lived a life Junior yearned for, and no matter what the cause, the twelve year old planned on gunning for it. Even with slurred speech that was almost impossible to understand, Junior never gave up.

Most importantly, Junior wanted to spend as much time with his twin brother as possible before the world tried to snatch them away like it had done many times before.
