A Red Card Event (RCE) is a penalty levied against a tribute whose writer is demonstrating poor sportsmanship: that is, harassing others, mouthing off to the GMs, being a bad sport, or otherwise disturbing the good order of the Games.
A list of Red Card Events will be put together by the GMs prior to each Games, and will be signed off on by Aya.
Tributes are given a Red Card for poor behavior if all of the GMs and at least one admin agree.
Tributes who are given a Red Card will roll on a designated thread prior to the next anthem (as a part of their tribute maint) to determine which RCE will affect them the following Day. If they have not rolled before maintenance closes, the GMs will roll for them.
1. Flashing Lights: Overwhelmed by the flashing lights of the arena, the tribute will have difficulty fighting and keeping track of their things. For every post in today’s mandate, the tribute must also roll to lose 1 item from their inventory (except for weapons).
2. Heatstroke: Due to the dehydrating effects of heatstroke, the tribute will be unable to function well in a fight this Games day. They will not be able to use any weapons and must attack unarmed.
3. Uneven Ground: This tribute will discover the ground in California is always a bit shaky. During the tribute’s mandate, they will be unable to attack, and instead must try to find their footing. Each post must be made with roll=[1-5] for the amount of damage they sustain (does not count towards the 2x attacks per round rule).
4. Hungry Hungry Muttations: A pack of hungry muttations swarms the tribute, seeking a meal. The tribute’s backpack becomes a snack, reducing their carrying capacity to 5 items. The tribute sustains +8 damage from the attack.
