She laughed, a snide tone creeping into the sound, which prompted her to suddenly 'cough' into the crook of her elbow and look back up at Papero with one of her perfected Career faces, 'the coy, shy girl.' It did not take much effort, for Dru was a tad embarrassed--being mean and coughing didn't seem like the right thing to do around this lad. He had the air of a royal, District One kid without the snide, sarcastic comments and turned up nose. It was charming.

"I am from District One, its a true pleasure to meet you, I haven't met a truly kind soul since coming to the Capitol," she glanced around at the cheery, bright instructors at different parts of the room, all attempting not to listen to this exchange, and added on to that comment a quick, "No offense, of course." Dru straightened up, her posture was well and good, but around such a tall person s he felt the need to raise her chin up and take a small step back, just to make eye contact with him.

"So, have you found any friends amongst the other Tributes? I would think such a gentleman would have Allies chasing after him," she commented, trying to make the essential question of 'who are you allied with' a little more polite. Dru found herself censoring her thoughts around people a lot more lately. She had to watch that forked tongue of hers, she also had to watch her back, the other Tributes and... no wonder I didn't see him coming. I have to observe everything at all times and identify threats. Its exhausting! Even small talk was becoming harder and harder for the confident girl. She had trailed off mid sentence while watching other people, uttered unflattering things like, 'ah, ehem, uhm, uuuh,' including many other noises that just wreaked of her inability to pay attention to the meaningless words people spoke these days. It was, well it was embarrassing.

ooc- so I'm guessing the order of posting will be Tea, me, Luna then, eh? Just to be clear.

Dru tried to force her cheeks to heat in a homely, flattered blush but her ice cold, white skin refused to go scarlet. So much for dramatic effect, were damsels meant to blush at any and all comments that were supposedly kind. Coming from the mouth of a fellow Tribute, inquiring over Alliances seemed low. More for Papero than Dru though, hypocritically enough. Papero was kind and poor, Dru was snobbish and rich. Her behavior was expected but his inquisitive questions were a surprise that caught Dru unsure of whether or not she should speak of the rightly named, 'Shameless Euthanasia Alliance.'

"Not as many callers as you would image," she stated simply, then winked playfully, "Although I am set up. I truly hope one of our alliances is attacked by mutts and decimated, or maybe blown up by a volcano, it would be much nicer than a fight," she commented. If it came down to a fight, killing Papero would be hard. He was strong and taller than Dru, also the politest person she'd ever met. After this encounter it was going to take a lot of mentally-convincing herself that this guy was a threat in order to prepare herself for the day they met in the Arena. Deep in the pit of her clenched stomach she had the troubling feeling that it would come down to them, but dismissed the thoughts. Dru's face sometimes betrayed her inner-turmoil and she did not want clever Papero to figure out what she was thinking about.

(ooc- aw heck, might as well give Tea/Alba some real drama. Dru hasn't been as sluttish as she usually is ever since she came to the Capitol. Its unlike her Go ahead and throw her across the room, the little sleeze. Shes acting too prim and proper around Papero.)

In a carefully thought out moment, Dru was suddenly much closer to the District Eleven, male Tribute than she would have thought two large steps would take her. She smiled up at him, but not the polite, strained smile that had been on her face before. This was a much more demanding, closed-lip smile that demanded Papero bend to her will. She raised a hand up to his shoulder and propped herself up in a quick move. Dru planted a smooch right on his lips before letting go of Papero. "Lets hope it doesn't come to that though, you're too much fun." Dru waited for a reaction. She couldn't come up with anything in her head, this boy was confusing and strange. That was mostly the reason why she had kissed him: just for the reaction. People reacting in hilarious ways when Dru started flirting and kissing boys. It was all part of the fun.
