You are running forward and forward, like in those nightmares you kept having. It is another bloodbath coming to life - you are the prey and the shadows of your suffering follow every single step of your bare feet. Someone is after you, someone from the Capitol, they want to destroy you for all you've done, you are sure of it.
"Help!"
There is no meaning to that scream, only pain and fear.
What happened to Shy? What is happening? What is going on?
Someone's fingers grasp at your shoulder but you shake them off and your elbow hits something soft as you move on even faster. There is no way out, you don't understand why there isn't a door and every single bruise left by Shy's weapon hurts. It hurts so much that you don't know for how much longer you are going to run.
Mama? Faux? Fiona?
You dodge a grasping hand again and try to blink out tears to see clearer what's in front of you, only to hit something soft, this time with your head. You jump backwards and fall down clumsily, the pain suddenly becoming worse. And as you raise your eyes to meet your fate face to face, you see someone you would never expect to see.
"MMM...Maxwell?" You sob and don't even notice a nurse in white getting closer to you from behind while you are sitting on the floor in the stupidest clothes ever invented by humanity and staring at the person in front of you like a fool.
"What's... happening? Why are they saying I'm alive? But Shy is supposed to be alive, what did they do to him? What is this place?"
You spit it out with another sob, this time not being able to hold anything back and begin crying uncontrollably.
