With the Games at a close and the other two Career Districts stealing the spotlight of the final two despite a strong showing from all three Districts, the owners and leaders of a select few Career academies decided that certain actions were required to generate enthusiasm amongst the art of the Games and test the mettle of this year's most promising recruits. And thus, with that, the Tournament of Future Champions was born.
This is a little side project that I am experimenting with. Unlike the OOCG and many past boneass JFFs that we've held over the years, this is something closer to the actual Hunger Games in concept. For this tournament, (ideally) four people from each house will sign up, submitting an actual Career character of theirs between fourteen and eighteen (smols not allowed for this tourney soz) where you would therefore be sorted into a bracket and engage in a little blitzy fight, complete with dice and in character posts and all.
The rules are quite simple - first character to twenty five damage loses, winner moves onto the next round, loser is eliminated, any melee weapon can be used (it is a showcase of the most skilled at their peak, after all), instas do ten damage bc we don't want death here, any permanently altering injuries such as severs and stabbed out eyes may be included at the target's discretion. This would likely be a moderately long afair, with the maximum amount of jffs one can partake in being four, with each post being around blitz length (too many long ass posts and it would never end).
Ideally, we'd have exactly four from each house sign up, as that's the maximum number from each house allowed in this event, but I won't impose a hard limit so long as y'all agree that if more than four from one house sign up that not everyone will get in. Additionally, if you have multiple D2s that you want to enter, you can throw them all at the signup sheet and I'll chose the one I feel would be most interesting to have in the the tourney.
Speaking of the signup sheet, without further ado, here is the signup form!Name:

What time tomorrow will you be available to participate?:
Everyone that signs up automatically gets 5 points both for their house and themselves, with a yet to be determined number of points for each match partaken in.
As always, if there are any questions, just @ me on slack!
