An exasperated sigh leaves his chest as his opponent's words echoes through his mind.

"I think you're forgetting that a lot of us was born on the outskirts of the district. A lot of us never had much. A lot of us went to bed hungry and without food." He pauses just long enough to catch a breath and to think of what to add next. "I was born on the outskirts. I didn't have much. It was just me and my mom, and there was plenty of times we went days without anything to eat. My father abandon my family because I was born different, but I never let that stop me." His eyes dart to his foot; " While you may have gone through all that, and you may have never gave up, claiming that as a difficult moment is despicable."

His heart's racing extremely fast, yet he holds himself together keeping himself with a calm demeanor.

"I've always been on the outside looking in because I have a deformity. When nobody wanted to stand by my side, I pushed myself forward, and I think others with some sort of handicap should know they can succeed as well."

"I'm not discounting poverty. It's a thing we all have faced, so the fact that you're saying it's your only struggle is where I'm going at. It's much more than just a limp. To be forgotten. To live a life on the outside where not a single person cares for you. I grew up poor. I know what it's like, and yet I'm still alive and thriving today."

He scoffs.

"If the job market is thriving, then why are people still having to work more than one job to make ends meet? Why not completely cut out the need for a second job? Why not make it to where individuals can work one job and have no problems surviving? ?Why are children still starving? Why not open up more jobs and increase the pay of it all so that no child is left behind?"
