The mere idea of mischief causes adrenaline to pump throughout my veins. I like to cause trouble, as long as I get my way in the end of it. If others are interfering in what I want to do, however, it doesn't turn out so well for them. This boy, Roan Trin, had spoken out against Flynn, as well as myself, and the rest of Fagin's gang, and therefore, would be facing the consequences. Just like Andesite, when he had died in the 72nd Games with his last words being negative toward Mr. G. Flynn, everyone would get what they deserved, hence Andesite dying so early on in the Hunger Games. Clearly, he'd done something wrong enough to earn his quick demise. Clearly, I'd done something right enough to still be here, alive.
Roan Trin is a little too outspoken about his opinions when he's around those he trusts, and making him trust me caused me to hear some of his true thoughts on Flynn, as well as other people of District Two. It didn't take long for the young man to trust me. He's a lot more vulnerable than he thinks he is, to be completely honest. When we became trainer and trainee, we became close. His father forced him to train as a career with me, and I started talking to the young man more and more. Eventually, he started to open up to me.
"Flynn was terrible to Andy," I had heard him say on one occasion.
"I heard that he was cruel towards him," I also heard him say at one point.
"Flynn just sounds like an asshole, don't you agree? Someone should honestly do something about it," he had told me.
He didn't know that I was raised by G. Flynn. He didn't know that I was loyal to Uncle Flynn (as we called him). He didn't know that opposing Flynn could make you 'disappear' from existence all of a sudden. He didn't know that I was part of the reason people disappeared when they opposed Flynn. I knew how to get rid of people when I had to. I'd consulted a young man who went by Sargent, and he'd be helping me.
He'd be helping me rid this world of Roan Trin.
No one spoke out against Flynn and got away with it if I could help it.
If it weren't for Flynn, I wouldn't be the woman I am today; strong, brave, intelligent, quick-witted and a little bit cruel.
I loved who I was as a person, and I wasn't afraid to use my capabilities to rid the world of the trash that tried to hurt Flynn's reputation.
