Tesla Faraday // District 3

Personality:

Tesla or as he prefers to be called; Gear. Is a very goofy personable guy, with a quick temper and a bit of an ego when it comes to showing his worth. He is insanely loyal and can be fairly protective, to those he likes.

If he doesn’t like a person he has trouble hiding how he feels. He has an attitude problem, though deep down he’s quite the softy which is something that is easy to exploit. He’s the kind of guy to risk his own safety for the well being of another if he thinks it’s the right thing to do. Even if more often than not, it turns out to be wrong.

History:

He grew up in a house full of women. His father died when he was younger from an illness, though he often suspected it was not the case. He has four older sisters who had all managed to escape the reaping. Two are now married with kids of their own, so women are a bit of a weakness to him. He feels the need to protect them and keep them safe.

Whenever he is not working in his district or with his friends, he’s always found with his siblings or his mother, which is often seen as a weakness. He’s not the strongest guy being as tall and slim (or lanky) as he is, but he does do a bit of weight lifting to strength train just on that off chance his name is called. He refuses to leave his family without a provider and wants nothing more than to win for them, should he be chosen.

He’s had a few close friends ‘vanish’ in the recent years due to breaking the rules so the once rebellious Tesla has began to lower his head and keep to himself. Though he longs to know what happened to them. He has his suspicions of them being taken to a disciplinary block.

He’s a very good coder and is mildly adept with knives though to say he could hold his own in a knife fight would be a complete lie. He’s a fast runner and a quick on the spot thinker, not all his ideas are great but he does what he thinks is best.
