After wandering around in flickering lighting, with no sun to guide you, it becomes difficult to tell what time it is. Only when the watch beeps twelve times and its screen turns on without your prompting, do you register that you have approached the end of the first day. Music blares from all directions — the acoustics in this arena are amazing — as 3D faces are projected from your watch, their names revolving with them.

Congratulations on surviving Day 1!
Just as it is time to settle down, a slight whistling sound resonates through the hallways, followed by what sounds and looks like a series of mini purple explosions. Water begins to start falling as if it was raining, but inside. It doesn't take long for the steam to fill up the rooms; the hot water pipes must have burst. For those who have made it outdoors, the sun ascends on the horizon, but the surrounding arctic is still cold enough to nip your nose. Grab a space suit to stay warm! You wouldn't want to freeze out there.

CLIMATE
Outside: Bright sun and gently falling snow. Despite the shimmering flakes in the air, it’s clear enough to see just how terrifyingly far a drop it is to the ocean below.
Inside: Burst hot water pipes drip like rhythmic rain as purple lighting flickers and sparks from the damage. Steam clouds the air in many places.
