Sometime between the 28th and 52nd Hunger Games the Monoghan family somehow managed to climb out of the ruined Seam and into the merchant villages of Twelve. Don't ask Noah how, or why, because she doesn't know. There's a reason for that. - Noah

There's no such thing as a silver spoon in District Twelve. Perhaps a copper one. If there was anything close to luxury in the poorest place in Panem it'd be found in the hands of the Monaghan children. Nine kids and not one had ever taken tessera - neither had their parents when they were young. It was a marvel, and impossible feat, but they'd done it. How? Nobody knows.

Save for half of the Monaghan children.

On a street or two away from the District square saved only for the nicest of things like raisins and hair bows and mittens lies a shop of little luxuries. Soaps and cutlery, herbs and toothpaste, brown paper packages and unlit candles. That's what the Monaghans sell. Nice things for nice people just like them - though one would think, underneath the ironed shirts and pretty headbands, that they'd crawled straight out of the Seam.

Dark hair, dark eyes, olive skin, freckles and sullen cheeks. Somewhere, some time long ago, their father's father's mother's father had crawled his way out of the poverty line. How? Nobody knows, but he did, and now the fruits of his laborious love stand all in a row: nine children. Elliot the oldest, boldest, proudest. Then Noah - quiet, strange, lovely. James and Juliet - Jamie and Jules if you know what's good for you. The twins, fifteen. And the babies - fourteen, thirteen, twelve. 

Half of them know what really leaves that shop. The nice things, yes. But some other things, too. Medicine, desperately needed and never enough to go around. Alcohol, for Keepers and addicts alike. Anything and everything that will turn a coin the Monoghans will sell - quietly, of course. 

Even if it kills you.

Okay so hello and welcome to another (groan) family plot! TLDR: a well-off (or as well-off as you can get in Twelve) family operates some dodgy undercover shit. What a shocking, original idea right? It's a big family with the potential to unravel some nasty secrets along the way and break up some strong sibling ties and basically get messy because we love drama! 

Eli (Tom) is aware of what his family does to stay high up the ranks but he doesn't want anything to do with it, much prefering to party and live his life removed from everyone. Noah (Zoë)  is a sweetheart, but extremely ignorant to anything her family does. Is most definitely somewhere on the spectrum, so her younger siblings are quite protective of her. Jules (Zoë lol) likes to think she's in charge and let's be honest, she probably is, but I'm open to having one of the younger ones challenge her for the role of faux-CEO. And Jamie? (Kaitlin) He's the goddamn king.

That's where you come in! I'd love for site members to write the twins (15, 15) and the three other "babies" (14, 13, 12). Gender & names are completely up to you. FCs are flexible, just as long as they look age-appropriate and fit with the family genetics (dark hair/eyes, olive skin, etc.)
