"Back so soon?" Once again, the trainer waved to the little girl as she graced him with her presence. She smiled to him, shrugging her shoulders and clasping her hands in front of her.
"Well, I finished what I needed to with that other boy. Learned what I could learn and now he's off my target list. So, this is what I guess I will try to pick up again, so if you don't mind, shut it and show me how to master the bow and where to pluck the arrows." She held a hand out and waited for the man to turn around and retrieve the items. Eyes rolled backward and her chest rose with aggravation before he returned. A plucky swipe with her hand had picked the bow right from his hand with an arrow in one felled swoop.
"Okay, so to pilot this monster, where and how do I hold the arrow?" She played with the string, pulling it, plucking it to make the noise of a tightly bound rope being hummed. A giddy feeling rose her cheeks up into a grand smile. "How many people have ya killed to be able to teach this station, Mister?"
The trainer's eyes widened in shock. He abruptly took the bow and the arrow from her, demonstrating the way it's to be held and he pulled harshly on the string. "I didn't have to kill anyone, miss. I trained for three hours every day for eight years growing up. It was my father's wish and goal to have me become a trainer for the games, and here I am. Yourself? How many people have you killed prior to the reaping?"
Prismarine chuckled as she watched the control and poise the archer held. With a shrug, she reached for the weapon. "My turn again. I see how it's done."
Nestled within her grasp and the arrow now pulled gently against her cheek, she held the arrow still until her finger slipped sending the arrow soaring toward a tribute, a male with an intimidating gait. The arrow landed only feet from him and she waved to him.
"Oops. Get that for me?"
