27th of November, First Year of the Reformed Panem
Dear Genevieve Jaroux,
I hope this letter finds you and your family settled and in a prosperous position within your new residence in the first District of Panem. After your family's substantial and continual contribution to the medical front of the Counter-Rebellion, it seems only suiting that you'd all be relocated closer to the Capitol and placed in a proper position of financial stability. This letter is being sent in regards to recent findings uncovered from within a newly confiscated set of rebel archives. The archives to which I am currently addressing are those we gained access to from a raid in your previous point of residence, the sixth District. As of right now, much of the coded language is still being translated by our specialists. However, I wish to inform you as the Matriarch of your family and as a proven ally to the Capitol, that it appears your family name is mentioned quite extensively. Do not despair though, I have assurances from our teams working on the matter that the rebel prisoners will continue to willingly decipher the code at a swift rate.
In other regards, it has come to the Capitol's attention that you and your family have chosen to discontinue your biological research. Despite the profound sadness of such a decision, we of course support your choice of turning towards a more simple life style in the gem industry of your District. That being stated, I must formally request, under orders from acting Special Squad Chief Travers who worked directly with you and your family, the data and results from your most recent tests of the human heart strengthening gene therapy injection. It would appear that your research could still be of great use to the Capitol and Panem.
On a final note, I pass on warm thoughts from your son and nephew currently stationed here in the main city Peace Keeping barracks awaiting their District reassignments. They wish for me to assure you and your brother that they will send word your way once they have arrived at their new stations.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for remaining to stand as a loyal supporter of the Capitol.
Earnestly,
First Officer Peace Keeper Richard Hughes
