There was the tiniest hint of coolness on the breeze as Ebony looked out over the ocean before the wedding. She felt butterflies in her stomach but there was also excitement. she was getting married to the love of her life today and she couldn't have asked for a better place to do so. It was part of tradition here in four that couples be married on the beach given how integral the ocean was to their way of life. They'd had a net woven for their special day and she could see that everything was almost ready. She hadn't seen Jax today as part of tradition dictated she didn't see him until she walked down the isle.
She took a deep breath, putting to memory everything about today, she wanted to remember this day for the rest of her life. She wasn't quite ready yet, she still had to get the dress on which she'd had hemmed so that she could be barefoot on the beach and wouldn't get the white fabric covered in Sand. She turned away from the view and headed towards the little cabin she was going to be using to get ready. The original cabin had been destroyed but they'd rebuilt it together and now it was transformed into her prep room. Her maid of honour, Alina, was already in the cabin almost ready to go and she held the canvas bag that had Ebony's dress in it. Her dress was simple and sleeveless, something she could breath in while still being formal enough to be a wedding dress. Alina expertly pulled her hair back into a low bun before she helped her get into the dress and applied a little bit of make up.
Once she was ready to go, she checked the time and realized that it was almost time for her to go and with a final look in the mirror, she hooked arms with Alina. Waiting outside for the two of them was her uncle, the man who'd taken her in after her parents had gone. He looked like he was going to cry when he saw her and she smiled. "You look so beautiful, your mother would have loved to see this." He said before Ebony looped her arm into his. She was nervous but excited as they began the procession towards where everything was set up. She could hardly believe this was happening. She was getting married. She touched the necklace around her neck with the pearl Jax had given to her early on in their relationship. The memory of it made her smile as she waited for the other members of the procession to go first before she made her entrance. She took a deep breath before putting a large smile on her face as she made her entrance, her eyes searching for the man she was marrying today and lighting up when she saw him. Dear Ripred he was so handsome. She couldn't wait to finally be able to say she was married to him.
