finding tomorrow :: district eleven :: open

The pale sun slowly stirs over the arcing fields of golden grain. Boots sit settled by door frames and straw hats swing softly in a warming breeze from their hooks. The first wailing whistles greet the morning and so rises the call for the initial set of workers to stream from their homes. Such is the every day morning of District Eleven. However, several shapes move towards streets of cobblestone and gates of midnight iron. They wait by the back of a home in the Victors Village for the door to unlock at 8am. Sharing breakfast first, they spend time in the kitchen before the back room is unlocked and they enter their classroom. 

The tables are always set the same with basic medical kits and a new variety of plants. This is their morning lesson, and after many of them work their midday shifts, they'll return for their combat lesson. Typically sparring with sticks or fighting hay filled scarecrows in the backyard. They are far from careers, but Kirito would never call them that. They are children and he just wants to prepare them. 

The Plot

So, after rewriting Kirito's bio I came here next. I've realized he is someone who wants to do anything and everything he can for the children in Eleven. Which in his case, means preparing them the way he can, primarily in terms of medical training with a light touch of some combat. This "class" and these "lessons" are open to absolutely anyone. I can't even explain how much I want to write Kirito more through his interaction with these kids and to read how the kids interact with one another. 

For this plot you do not need to create a new character, but you can if you'd like. The age range for the children is 11-18. I currently don't have an exact number in mind for how many students, but for now I will put a tentative soft close date on January 16, 2019.
