Bodies brainlessly barreling themselves at one another, sudden screeches from endless drunken children, and constant crying from broken hearts, how pitiful it all is really. There isn't a single flare of fascination to quench her onlooking thirst. Not a single spark of intelligence among the rancorous ranks of these beasts. She should have known before even coming what the outcome would be. She has other interests then the state of relief alcohol can submit its servants to after only a few shots. Athena flicks away a thread of her hair on her face before grabbing her bag and heading out of the door.

Outside the air is cooler, far more agreeable than the heat of the indoor rampage. Athena tilts her eyes towards the sky and the stars sewn into the sea of darkness above her. If only she could go there, find out what is beyond the this taciturn teenage existence. Alas, she drops her head from her dreams and back towards the steps to the street, such ideas are impossible. Instead she shall perfect what she can, her training and her mind.

Turning a corner around a hedge at the edge of the property Athena nearly slams into the side of some boy she's never seen. Obviously her tongue shares no shame in what she speaks.

"Let me guess, too drunk to walk straight?"

Icarus had no idea why he decided to leave the house and someone running directly into him isn't why. "Let me guess, too drunk to walk?" She sounded like someone who thought she was a lion but was a kitty cat instead, the sarcastic tone and lips that have no bounds.

He stares at her, the light hair and bright eyes - a signature of many of the famous families in district one. "Let me guess, you're a Fray—no—Lumiere, even worse. The Fray's at least have a victor." Icarus does not drink and he doesn't take kindly to someone disrespecting him when he's superior in almost every way.

It's too easy, the trills of laughter that instinctively lift off of her lips at this boy's deduction. Her nose wrinkles at his speech and her eyes roll. He doesn't need alcohol like the others to be annoying, clearly for him it's just innate. What is it about the people in this District? They're all so tied to family names and blood within their veins, perhaps if they showed an ounce of interest in intellect more of them would come home alive. Still even though she pities him, Athena doesn't spare this boy an inch of her bite.

"Yes, the Frays have a Victor. A blacksheep who won and hasn't done much for the District since. Now why does that sound familiar?" Her eyes turn to ice beneath the moonlight as she runs a hand through her waterfall of blonde. "Oh right, because the blacksheep of you family of lions won too. Isn't that right, Le Roux?" Athena takes a step back and leans against a nearby wall of cobblestone. "You may not be drunk on alcohol, but you're high off of a victory that really isn't even your's."
