She is and she isn't.
When she flickers to life, a whisper in the otherwise silent space, she knows that she is not real. There already is a real her, a flesh and bone her, with real blood and a beating
And yet, for the boy before her, she is enough.
"My name is Ridley Le Roux, Victor of the 83rd Hunger Games." The words are pre-programmed, an announcement that she will make on and on into eternity. She will speak even when the real her is dead and gone. In that way, she is a legacy. Something to be proud of.
Pride. Distantly, some part of her programming knows that it is a word that is supposed to be meaningful to her. Le Roux. Lions. It all click click clicks together until she has a better grasp on this reality, a better guess of how her flesh and bone self would behave. She lowers her gaze to the boy in front of her.
"What are you doing here?"
