Part V: Fortitude

Against all odds, you have survived. You’ve lost a friend, or perhaps merely a rival, and possibly have left a pound of flesh and a pint of blood behind in the dirt, but you have survived.

But so has it. No, so have they. The twisted abominations, each with a unique power, each with the same thirst for murder. Escaping into the trees, the towers, the undergrowth, the Experiments are far from beaten. If the feeling of being watched was unnerving before their reveal, now it is nothing short of frightening, for you have seen what they can do, what lengths they will go to in order to catch their prey.

And of that, you have no doubt. No doubt that though you might be fighters, murderers, compared to these freaks of nature, you are nothing more than prey.

But will you submit meekly to their fangs? Or will you stand up and fight?
