The Continent is changing... Witchers are no longer abundant, not that they ever were. It's a time for King's and Dynasties and with Nilfgaard having taken control of Cintra they seemed poised to rule all the Continent. Among this battle, the destinies of Geralt Of Rivia, Yennefer, and Ciri are all tied together but it is still unknown why and how. The battle of Sodden Hill did not stop the Nilgaardian advances into the Northern Kingdom, it only slowed them down. Now the Brotherhood of Mages is fractured, the armies of Nilgaard advance closer to the north, and the world is on the brink of battle. A land of monsters and monstrosities rule where the most violent and horrifying creatures aren't always those things that lurk in the forest.
