Big Brother: Site Edition

Are you messy? Do you live for drama? Do you enjoy social politics and competition? Or are you just a fan of the show and interested in taking part in something? Well then boy oh boy do I have news for you!

Big Brother: Site Edition is now going to be a thing!!! It is going to be a very casual, fun, silly, super drawn out game that requires a bit of alliance-building and strategy as you go, but I cannot stress enough that it is supposed to be for fun!!! I'll be making a chat on slack for members to take part.

How Does it Work?
For those who are unfamiliar with the game, or are interested in seeing how things will work, fear not! I am here to explain it to you!

Every “episode” will start with what is called the Head of Household (HoH) Competition. Each week will be centered on trivia challenges based on various topics. The winner of this competition will be granted immunity for the week, and must nominate two other competitors for elimination.

Next, the HoH, the two nominees, and a few other competitors selected by random draw, will participate in the Power of Veto (PoV) Competition. Winning this competition means you have the power to remove someone from the block, meaning they are no longer up for elimination. If you are one of the two nominees and win PoV, you can remove yourself. The winner of PoV may also choose to leave nominations the same, if they so wish. If a nominee is removed from the block, the HoH must select a replacement. The HoH may not choose the same person who was removed, and may only choose the PoV winner if they are the only other option.

Finally, via closed vote, the remaining competitors will eliminate one player per episode. The nominees may not vote, and the HoH may only vote in the event of a tie.

If a person wins HoH, they must wait a week before they can win again. They may still compete in PoV competitions for the week, however.

The process will continue over and over until the top three, in which there will only be an HoH Competition, played out in three rounds. All three remaining competitors will compete in part one. One person will win, and the two competitors who do not win will compete in part two. Finally, the winner of part one and the winner of part two will compete in part three, the winner becoming the final HoH and solely choosing which of the other two competitors will be eliminated.

Once there are only two players remaining, all the eliminated contestants will vote in secrecy on which of the final two they think should win. The player with the most votes is named the winner!

For this season, each contestant will be randomly assigned a perk that is unique to them. They may choose to share this perk with others, or keep it a secret. Each perk will help in different aspects of the game, and all perks will become void as of the Top Five, meaning the last week a player may use their perk is during the Top Six.

There will be a total of twelve positions, first come, first serve, but if you miss the chance to step in, fear not! You may still post and become an alternate in the event that someone doesn't show up/doesn't want to do it anymore, and also some of the perks might require help from you even if you weren't already a part of the game!

For now, I'm going to say that this will be a weekly thing, taking place every Saturday evening, but depending on people's availability, it may be reduced to bi-weekly instead. The actual rounds shouldn't take all that long- no more than an hour or two, if we move things along quickly.
