Appearance:

Jasper could be considered beautiful by many if they ever gave her the time of day. Her hair colored dark brown and straight and sheared short keeping it from growing to its naturally beach wave style. She stands at an average height at 5'9" with a rather broad shoulder stance. Her chest is slight and she holds a decent amount of muscle for someone of her size. Deep set eyes colored a deep honeyed brown are positioned nicely on her face. Her nose is hooked, like that of a beak but doesn't appear very strange with the rest of the proportions of her head. Her lips are rather thin, and her face clear of blemishes. Her teeth however are a bit crooked, particularly her back teeth due to her wisdom teeth.

She weighs in at 150 pounds, the weight spread evenly around her form but hangs mostly at her hips. She is relatively strong, able to lift herself up and move about with ease. Something like Monkey Bars or rock climbing is somewhat easy for her to do. She tends to walk with a strange gait, her feet cocked inward like a pigeon whether she likes them to or not. With her strange gait causes a little bit of an issue with her balance when running or walking. She tends to crash through the brush rather than run, easily tripping over any stray roots or rocks that she doesn't see right away.

Personality:

Jasper is a quiet woman by nature. Never one to raise her voice and is rather hard to hear when speaking normally. She is not battle prone, and is rather peaceful for someone of her district and isn't what one would normally consider a career and in fact holds a paralyzing fear of being chosen for the Games. She is a fan of adrenaline, it simulates her senses with a rush that makes her feel calm afterwards. She is a quiet woman, but also articulate. Granted it almost goes to waste as she never feels she is able to find the right words to say.

She doesn't enjoy fighting, and while watching the games she often feels queasy. Instead she is earnest, and fair, not the type to scheme or play dirty unless she's desperate. She is rather truthful and merciful, having a horrible time lying and never wanting to take the life of another person. She knows though, especially with how the Games are ever looming up above her head that she might just have to throw away her morals. She detests them, never speaking out loud of course, but in her mind these thoughts of hatred of the games fester. She knows she is just a piece and nothing will ever come of her thoughts. She also knows that if she is selected, no matter her fear, is that she'll do what she must to live.

She is a faithful companion, loyal to a fault and believes anyone who has earned her trust and that can be her downfall. This can cause issues as she can easily be lied to and she takes her friends at their word. This being said she has almost no backbone. A conformist to anyone in power and who she deems better than herself. She doesn't really take mean things said about her hard, she just lets them say what they wish. She knows what is true about herself and can't lie even to her own mind. This being so, she isn't a very outgoing individual. In fact she is rather shy and hesitant about talking with people. She doesn't speak much and would much rather spend the day alone or with people who have managed to work past her shell.
