since we haven't had an arena-themed twist in a while, that's going to be my first logical guess! i also want to take a wild-flung guess and say something to do with tribute pool restrictions like the 65th?

I agree with something arena-themed, and would be super excited to see something like the 60th again, with new areas of the arena being unlocked or unveiled as the games go on, or something similar in terms of an arena.

I also think it might be time for a mechanic-based twist like only using a certain weapon or having fights that are structured differently than the norm or maybe having a minimal games with no stations, armor, or sponsorship, or there is no wealth and the only way tribs can get items is via random events.

Maybe having two separate arenas, sending one tribute from each district to each, and then once there is a victor from each arena, they have fight it out to be the victorest victor.

I could maybe see a reversed tiny tribs quell, but then that wouldn't really change things all that much from current games, so I don't see it happening until there is a bigger variety of tribute ages on the site.

Victor relatives, regardless of age, would be totally heartbreaking bc like imagine someone's mom fighting someone's like 12 year old sister or something oof
