The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes | Countdown Celebration!

WELCOME TO OUR CELEBRATION EVENT!

Hello lovely HGRPG community! To celebrate the upcoming release of Suzanne Collins' new book, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the advertising team and our illustrious leader Kay are throwing a celebratory event!

Join us as we count down the 10 days, beginning tomorrow 10th May, until the book releases. We'll have fun games and activities to do each day, plus a few extra activities planned (because what's an event on HGRPG without some bone-ass?)

But that's not all! Each activity you participate in will earn you a ticket into our Grand Prize Raffle - a copy of TBoSaS gifted to you by yours truly on release day! I will personally be purchasing one winner a copy of the book, either digitally via Amazon/Kindle or a physical copy via Book Depository - up to you!

Please note that if you wish to win the prize you agree to share with me either your email address (digital) or shipping address (physical) so I can get your prize to you. If you're not comfortable doing that and wish to still participate in the event, we completely understand. You are most welcome to donate your earned tickets which will be randomly raffled off to other members.

Make sure you've got '@newballadevent' in your Slack pings to get updates from myself and the Ad team when our daily event is posted.

To start with, the Ad team have created a slack channel #ballad-book-chat (BEWARE OF SPOILERS!) for us to start theorising and discussing the book ahead of release. We will keep the channel up past release day (May 19th) so we can discuss our thoughts & feelings from there-on.
