Songbirds & Snakes Event | Day 5: Predict the book ending

the ending of the book will give us the cherry on top, the final reason that the glorified rich white guy felt compelled to lead a dystopian country and continue a death contest for children. maybe because the districts called him a boomer or something or said his wife was a karen? so instead of speaking to the manager, he became the manager. powerful stuff.

my take is that the book is going to pull a t100-esque "snow is forced to perform some majorly destructive act that changes him" so that he essentially becomes the mask after succeeding some equally terrible president. to that end, the book would probably end with snow realizing what he has become and fully embracing it because he's come to have power, glory, impunity and whatever else he dreamed of as a child that he couldn't have (bc you know they love to make the villains ~tortured~)

d12f comes second, or she gets snow in trouble or betrays him and thus his vendetta against twelve and the lower districts is born?

also i hate to say it but: she's katniss' ancestor *eyeroll*
