Sleek, simple, and above all stylish, this year's uniform is predominantly black, with plain matching pants, long-sleeved shirts, boots, and flowing floor-length cloaks for all tributes. Ornaments in the form of jewelry may be added at the discretion of each stylist; nothing is off-limits, from jeweled buttons to bracelets to tiaras, as long as they stand out brightly against the black fabric.
But the true crowning jewel, though they look plain at first glance, are the boots. These sturdy shoes will carry tributes anywhere they wish to go, including—with the help of technology adapted from the maglev systems that power trains, built into the boots and into the grounds of the Arena itself—up.
Flying is a tricky business, tributes. Keep your balance up there.
The levitating boots are an in-character embellishment, not a mechanic; they do not allow for further travel or any other Games rules changes.
