My green eyes hate staying open, but my brain refuses to let me sleep. When sleep does come, it provides comfort. It lets me explore worlds that never would have existed. I feel... happy; joyful; content. All emotions I never get while awake. Death is easily obtainable, but too difficult to achieve alone, not that I wish it upon myself. It would simply provide a better life compared to the one I'm living in now. Some say I'm blessed to live in a loving and caring family, and that I shouldn't feel this way, but I do. I could never leave them behind. It would only lead to pain for more people. Hell, I'd need to wash my long brown hair and cover my ghost-white body in a suit. Can't visit Death looking like a mess. It's only a fantasy, anyway. If I was meant to be dead before the age of 18, I would have already been dead. but I'm alive. But, goddamn, a nice 100-year power nap or being able to take a break from living would be nice. I only have the future to look forward to. Maybe it'll be better; maybe it won't; the only way to figure out is to live.
