He really didn't know what he'd done to deserve this particular outing. It's not like he'd ever sucked up to Olivia in recent months, he'd actually gotten really good at avoiding her for the most part. She was easy enough to hear coming through the house with those near stilletos she always seemed to be wearing.

He'd never disobey an order from the siblings though, at least not outright. He knew what that won him. The scar in his hand was still sore sometimes, the Strauss' own yearly reaping on the horizon already. He didn't need a reason to be chosen again for that.

He was currently in Octavia's arms and he'd never felt so uncomfortable, never been so stiff. It felt like being in the clutches of a spider, he could feel her venom dripping from her maw. How anyone could look at Octavia and see anything but a monster was beyond him but the crowd was eating it all up. Finn blinked at the cameras, at the questions tumbling in from all sides, he wasn't used to this kind of thing.

"Of course," he said, a dead smile on his lips, "If all kids in Two were given the opportunities I've been given, there'd be none left."

He felt Octavia's grip tighten and imagined his grave already dug for him out in the woods behind the house. God, he hoped they put him near the stream, he loved to listen to it.

"Ha ha," he said, laugh as empty and dry as the fridge at home, "Left on the streets that is."
