Eurydice knows she isn’t the perfect mother.
Instead of cutting sandwiches for her children, she’s always been the one to pay chefs to cook for them, because personal touch was nothing in comparison to talent in her rule book. She’s always tossed vases at walls mere inches away from her children’s faces, and she’s beaten them in spars by herself, and she’s been overly judgmental about most things. And she denies herself the right to mourn a son she’s lost.
But, her heart still gives a surprised twist when it comes to her attention that Tatton has been called to the principal’s office for a fight and other things she's been too furious to clearly hear.
Eurydice strides into the room as the storm she is, a thundering of stilettos and a lightning-hot gaze at her son before she settles on a chair next to him, legs crossed, arms folded over chest.
The air between them is knotted with electric silence before Eurydice breaks it.
“Do not hold back any of the punishment,” she immediately tells the mustached principle ahead of them with a slap to the table to emphasize her words. “Give him the worst option there is, because he deserves it! After all, he's the one who stupidly decided to be a little shit at school, isn't that right?”
Her eyes are daggers, their sharp tips glistening.
