I've always had a morbid fascination with words.

I don't know how to explain it other than you can know words in a way that you can never know another human, in a way that you can never know yourself. I don't know how to explain it other than I am jealous because they exist and most of the time I am not convinced that I do.

Words just are in a way we humans will never be.

Words tell you all of themselves in a single little collection of swoops and lines, simply by being we know exactly what they are trying to say. Put them together and they can create something new, something to be interpreted, sure, but at the end of the day, a word is a word and that is the be all end all of it. I wish that I could just sit down cross legged and look at someone in their eyes and simply radiate one clear meaning, wish that I could be as easy to explain as a word created by ink pressed into a page.

I guess what I am trying to say is that sometimes I don't know what or who I am, that sometimes I feel more like an echo of a person rather than something concrete, something that can be touched or explained. Like I am here in the world, but only as an echo of whatever it is that I am supposed to be, whatever it is that I could be.

What I am saying is that I want you to read me and tell me what you find.
