I still am reeling from all of the events that have passed since I have arrived here. I try to take breathers when I can, but I have a feeling that it will never slow down. If there is one thing that I can focus on here, its the fact that this is nothing like home. Everything looks perfect, and I cannot lie when I think about how much I actually hate it. I wouldnt say this outloud to anyone, because that is not their business, but I can only imagine how much was covered up by the powers that may be.

It was no fun being perfect anyway.

But the apartment that I walked into a couple days ago had been spacious, so much so that I lost Caleb a couple times while making my way around. We had separate rooms that had been right near each other, and the moment I discovered that they did in fact lock, made me breathe a sigh of relief. There was a chance for me to have some sort of respite away from the madness.

However, I was even more impressed with the state of the art kitchen that had been in there. I had been told by the escort that I could have whatever I wanted brought to me, and that they encourage me to indulge while I am here. I know that I shouldnt, but seeing a kitchen like this got me thinking about how I could at least make a couple meals. After all, it was nothing like back home in five, not even my kitchen looked this high tech.

So a couple requests to the avoxes were made as I left for training in the morning. I am not sure what is in store for me, but I know what I will come back too. And to my surprise it is luxurious in every sense of the word. And I cannot help but feel like this is a dream.

When I know damn well that it is an actual nightmare.

I cook a meal, a couple people are around, including the escort who decided to give what I made a taste. To my surprise they complimented me, which I felt like was a rare occurrence from a capitolite to a district born boy. I give a light smile before realizing that it was probably time for me to try to relax for the rest of the night. I had even noticed the rest of the world around me, and my room seems like the best place for me to go.

I slip in, realizing that the door had been left ajar a little bit. I dont think about it too much, pushing the door open and closing it right behind me, locking the door. The lights are not on, and I decide that I needed to get out of the shirt I was in before I even step foot in the bathroom. Its slides off quickly, and my hand reaches for the light. When the room lights up, I notice a boy on my bed and I am a little shocked.

"Uhhh, what is this?" I say, not even thinking about the cold air hitting my exposed chest for him to see. "I dont think I signed up for this kind of treatment." I smirk for a moment, before realizing that this boy was probably an intruder, not someone sent from the capitol.

Still I am curious.
