Anthem - Day Three

The night sky is surprisingly calm. Not a single snowflake falls from the sky, all you are greeted with is the occasional wind as it whips around you and chills you to the bone. It's oddly peaceful, even though you can not quite feel your fingers or your toes. It's almost entirely silent, the deep snow absorbing any sound that might befall upon it, but for some reason you are still too scared to speak anything above a whisper.

Even once the music erodes back into silence, the snow still refuses to fall.

1 gone, only 23 remain. Still 22 more must die if you ever hope to see your home again.

Congratulations on surviving Day Two!

You go to sleep in the peacefulness of the night, thinking that tomorrow will bring something better. Less snow, warmer weather, something, but when you finally open your eyes you realize just how wrong you are. The snow falls wickedly fast and incredibly thick. There is so much that it is impossible to see any more than a foot in front of you. You stumble blindly through the storm, doing your best to reach your desired destination. After what seems like hours you stop, confident you are finally there.

In an instant, the snow stops, like a switch was turned off.

And in front of you stands 22 other tributes atop the hill of the Cornucopia that is festively decorated and holiday music blares through the speakers of the Arena.
