Anthem - Day Seven

Sometime after the sun sets, the winds begin to howl.
It isn't the sort of mournful sound that winter sometimes brings. No, these winds are angry, rattling the branches of the ghost trees and driving in clouds that envelope the Arena in inky darkness. You soon discover why. The snow in the inner parts of the Arena is fluffy and at worst inconvenient, but in the tundra it begins to fall so heavily and is blown so forcefully by the wind that it sticks to the sides of things instead of the ground. It falls so hard that the area becomes impossible to navigate - even the animals flee, the snow and ice driving like needles against them.
[The Tundra is no longer accessible to tributes.]
It feels like a pretense, like a sign. The playing field is narrowing. And, as the Anthem lights up the sky, somehow still bright even against the falling snow, you realize why.

Your fingers are numb as you count off the remaining tributes. Eight.
You've survived this long, but seven more must die if you are ever to escape this eternal winter.
Congratulations on surviving Day Six!
