After the so-called 'fight" that had ended, I find myself wandering around the dead forest aimlessly. I still had no idea who the girl I killed was. Did you interact with any girls before you hopped into here? Other than your partner and what's-her-face from 11? Wait, I met 11 in the arena. Dom was the only girl I talked to outside of here. So why was that other girl so pissed at me? Oh well, she's gone somewhere. If she isn't here, too bad. At least she won't yell at me anymore for 'killing her brother'. I didn't kill anyone. Except for those two people I killed, but that doesn't count.
Another canon goes off in the distance, indicating another death and marking the start of the end. There's just one more person between me and home right now. Just one. Don't know who they are, nor do I care. I didn't get close to them so it should be an easy fight. Whoever it is, I can beat their ass. I'll have to. I will. I wonder who I'll have to face tomorrow. Or maybe it won't even be tomorrow! Maybe it'll be today! Nah the gamemakers won't be that cruel. I hope.
I throw my stuff onto the ground and make camp for the rest of the day and the following night. My legs felt as though they were going to fall off at any second, and it was probably best for me to patch up everything, even if I couldn't feel anything ... yet.
Popping pills as I patch myself up feels ironic if I knew what that word meant. Never cared about English in school, and I don't plan on caring now. I never thought I would make it this far again. Hell, I never planned on making it this far either time. This time it's different. I don't get a second chance. I need to win this. I need to go home. I don't want to die here.
