You, at your core, crave. Touch, recognition, panting breath on your neck. It's all about passion, you think, about losing control in order to gain control. And it can be endearing at times, sure: people like having you on their side or on their arm because, for a short while, you make them believe that they're all you want in the world. And for a time, that's true.

But it never lasts, does it?

It's only a matter of time before you've moved on to your next obsession, terrified of vulnerability, terrified of the attention you so desperately crave, terrified of letting anyone see you for what you really are. Because you're so much more than someone who dives in head first without a second thought.
